It’s still summertime and the kids are home and always hungry! Studies show that when kids are well nourished, they perform better in studies and sports and are better equipped to fight off disease. But what most moms and dads also know is that pleasing those picky little taste buds is easier said than done.

One of our customer’s sons, Luke, squealed with delight over the yummy chocolate honey!”

We have heard from customers some great food choices for kids involving honey. These easy-to-make treats are so delicious, even the pickiest of eaters will be asking for seconds. As kids grow from little tots to happy, little children, they become more and more picky about the foods they eat. Chances are they will eat only their favorite foods. Kids in particular have a big tummy for sweet treats such as chocolate and candies. But too much sweets and sugar is unhealthy for growing kids. Actually, it is not really good for anyone of any age.

When kids start to ask for sweets, it is very difficult to say no to them. They will be insistent and if you do not give them what they want. Some may throw a tantrum so you will end up giving them sweets anyway, and will regret it soon after. Do not worry though. Honey is sweet and healthy. Unlike other chocolate syrups and spreads which may contain things like corn syrup and hydrogenated oils, Choc-O-Honey contains only two pure ingredients, organic cocoa and honey. You can use them on your kid’s snacks anytime. Listed below are some sweet and healthy honey chocolate snacks for kids.
